Planning is getting underway for the new corpus interface. It should look handsome, be compatible with VersaText and have some great user-friendly features.

A new approach to collecting language data from British youth emerged during a Globe webinar: Share your writing was born. Children are going to paste everything they write, maybe not everything, into an interface we are developing. This includes their work in all of their subjects and anything else they write along the way. We are collecting samples of their informal language as well as their best school stuff.
 Great meeting in Park Lane Cafe, Brno, with Sarah and Alan at which James introduced Vit. We tossed around lots of ideas. Vit has great ideas about getting samples of kids language that they have already uploaded to various platforms.
